Abstract

Distance learning - a relationship between a student and a teacher based on  Internet technology  or  other interactive  methods  and  all  components  of  the learning  process  -  goals,  content,  methods,  organizational  forms  and  teaching methods at a certain distance from each other. The all above issues are discussed in this article.

Introduction

In the modern educational process, new concepts are entering the traditional ones. The following are the basics and definitions of these concepts. Learning is a process armed with a goal-oriented system of knowledge and skills. Education is the result of teaching, the upbringing and development of the individual. Distance learning is a form of education based on information and telecommunication technologies, such as distance and full -time education, which includes the best traditional and innovative methods, teaching aids and forms. Distance learning is an education system based on new information technologies, telecommunication technologies and technical means. It is a system that requires the learner to practice more independently, providing the learner with learning conditions and communication with the teacher based on certain standards and educational rules. In this case, the learning process does not depend on when and where the student will be. Distance education is an educational complex based on the means of exchanging educational information at a distance, providing educational services to all segments of the population and foreign students with the help of a special information environment. So, distance learning is a process in the distance learning complex.

Distance learning and distance education have their own characteristics, pedagogical system, necessity and purpose.

Today, the world is developing rapidly and changing very fast. Almost every minute there are changes, updates and surprises in different parts of the planet. Every day is spent under a strong flow of information. The flow of information follows us at home, at work, and everywhere. Man cannot function normally without the influence of information. Understanding and studying life takes place through the collection and assimilation of information. A person's level of knowledge is also determined by the amount of information that a person learns over a period of time. Therefore, the effective use of new information technologies in improving education, opening the way to modern knowledge has become a requirement of today.

The National Program of Personnel Training and the Law of the Republic of

Uzbekistan "On Education" impose the same responsibility. However, significant changes are taking place in the education system. Forms of distance learning are used in the education system.

Advantages of distance learning. Distance learning is independent learning. Independent learning develops a person's ability to think independently, assess the situation, draw conclusions and predict. Another advantage of distance learning is that the student can study at a convenient time and even without leaving work. It is because of these advantages that this style is now widely used in the world. Many large companies use this method to save or change their skills, saving millions of dollars a year.

Another advantage of distance learning is that the student determines the duration of study, that is when the student begins to study at any time, masters the materials under the supervision of the teacher. Assimilation is determined by the performance of tasks, tests. The sooner a student masters the program, the sooner he or she will graduate and receive a certificate. If he is unable to master the program, he will be given the opportunity to work independently and continue his studies. It is well known that this method has many advantages. All higher education institutions are working on the implementation of distance learning techniques and technologies.

The development of information technology requires a new approach to the organization of distance learning. Modern models of distance learning are based on communication and network technologies. Firstly, it is not necessary to gather a certain number of people who want to study at the location of the educational institution in order to provide education on the basis of distance learning. Secondly, there is no need for the listener or student to overspend.

Thirdly, it is possible to exclude age restrictions for those involved in this type of education.

Distance education has methodological, economic, social advantages, as well as disadvantages and negative sides

Methodological achievements and advantages include:

Disadvantages of distance learning

Differences between traditional and distance learning systems

Distance education differs from traditional education by the following Characteristics:

  1. Flexibility - The ability of the learner to learn at a time, place and speed that suits him / her.
  2. Modularity - the ability to create an individual or group curriculum from an independent set of independent training courses - modules.
  3. Parallelism - The ability to conduct educational activities in parallel with the work, is inseparable from production.
  4. Comprehensiveness - The ability of a large number of students to access large educational resources (electronic library, database and knowledge base, etc.) at the same time. This is an opportunity for a large number of students to communicate with each other and with the teacher through the means of communication.
  5. Economic savings - Efficient use of training facilities, equipment, vehicles and training materials, the collection of training materials, their organization and organization of a large number of references to this information.
  6. obtaining reduces the cost of training specialists.
  7. Social Equality - Access to equal education for all, regardless of the student's place of residence, health or financial status. Internationalism is the ability to import and export world-class achievements in education.
  8. New role of the teacher - Distance learning further expands and renews the role of the teacher in the teaching process. Now the teacher needs to coordinate the learning process, constantly improve the subject in accordance with the news and innovations, to deepen the level and creative activity.
  9. Quality - Distance learning is not inferior to full-time education in terms of quality of education. Perhaps, the involvement of local and foreign teaching staff can improve the quality of the organization of the educational process using the best textbooks and control tests.

In the organization of the educational process, of course, we need to take

the following steps:

whom to teach.

  1. Defining course objectives. What knowledge (topics, science, etc.) and for
  2. Choice of reading methods. During the training process, it is necessary to determine the sources and methods of diagnosis and testing the level of knowledge and skills.

Development of distance education in Uzbekistan.

Uzbekistan, like other countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States, is making great efforts to bring its education to world standards. The large area of our country and the presence of geographically remote regions are the main reasons for the development of e-learning, which leads to its great importance. In the current era of financial scarcity, this type of education should be widely used. It is natural that there are some problems with the introduction of this type of education. These are mainly the lack of funds, technical equipment and qualified engineers and teachers in this field, but we need to solve these problems as much as possible, because the organization of distance learning in Uzbekistan is very effective. At present, many decrees of the President and resolutions of the Oliy Majlis have been issued on the computerization of education and production and the development of information technology in these areas. As a result, over the past five years, a lot of exemplary work has been done in the Republic. For example, the Tashkent University of Information Technology was established in 2002, and since this year the university has been training specialists in the field of computers and communications, radiotelephone and information networks, software and e-commerce. These and other higher education institutions are creating many new programs and e-books in the field of education.
